5th African Logistics Conference

Lectures  and staff from the Department of Management Science School of Business participated in the just concluded 5th African Logistics Conference at the United Nation (UN) office in Nairobi

The conference is being co-facilitated by WFP, IOM, the Inter Agency Working Group, the University of Nairobi and HELP Logistics, a program of the Kuehne Foundation. Presenters from NGOs, INGOs, the UN, the private sector, universities and CSOs have been invited to speak on the following cluster topics:

Cluster 1: Localization, Collaboration and Co-ordination

Cluster 2: Adapting to change in the Humanitarian Supply Chain Landscape

Cluster 3: Future roles and responsibilities of Humanitarian Supply Chain Professionals

More than 150 participants attended the conference. These participants were  primarily supply and logistics colleagues from local and international NGOs, UN agencies, University academics and students.

The Conference was officialy closed by the Dean School of Business Dr.James Njihia
