A management scholar and researcher in operations, procurement and supply chain management in practice with both classroom and industry experience, currently I lecture at the leading business school in Kenya. I addition I have consulted in the areas of procurement & supply chain management, organizational strategy, performance management, project and programme management in both advisory and training
capacities.
I am a Certified expert in Public Performance Management by the Republic of Kenya in: development performance guidelines; Performance Measurement (Performance Contracts and Balanced Score Card including cascading them to departments); Performance Appraisal Systems (Monitoring and Evaluation; quarterly reports including cascading and tools up to departmental level); and Performance Reporting (Terminal Evaluation Reports and rewards systems).
As a World Bank Senior Procurement Expert, in collaboration with Somalia National University and Puntland
State University I have conducted Short-Term and Mid-Term training in procurement management including training needs analysis, development of training modules, delivery, post training assessment, development of the learning plan and impact assessment for civil servants from key MDAs and Training of Trainers.
