We have extended the application deadline for the DAAD-funded PhD, SuMO and MBR Scholarships under the SCO at the University of Nairobi to 24th July 2026.
To date, we have received 10 applications for the PhD programme, 10 for the MBR programme, and 8 for the SuMO programme. The deadline extension is intended to attract more applications and broaden the pool of qualified candidates for selection.
The content of the advertisement remains unchanged, with one exception. Under the list of required application documents, we have added "or proof of application for admission" as an alternative to an admission letter. This will allow applicants who may have experienced delays in receiving their admission letters to still apply as long as they can show proof of application for admission.
